Recent ActivityCounseling Services
Individual and group services are available as needed. Students or parents are welcome in the counselor's office at any time. All discussions are kept confidential unless required by law to be reported. Booklets, pamphlets, and videos are available on a wide variety of subjects of interest to students and parents.
About Me
I began working for USD 207 in August 1990 as an elementary school counselor. Prior to coming to Fort Leavenworth I worked in Council Grove, Kansas as a teacher and coach in middle school and high school.
I received my BS in education form Emporia State University, Emporia, Kansas. My MS in Guidance and Counseling is from the same university. I have 45 hours past my MS. I believe in keeping up with new ideas and strategies to help students and families.
Class Announcements Drug EducationParents,
In September and October my lessons in grades 3-6 will be on drug education. In September the lesson will be on Tobacco and in October the lesson will be on Alcohol. This will lead up to Red Ribbon week, October 18-22, when we encourage students to make good choices and say no to drugs.
